Profile Reports
Profile reports provide an up-to-date snapshot of issues. They address the need of users to understand the character and make-up of a specific area or set of areas. Profile reports bring together relevant information and data about an area of interest and present it in a structured, multi-themed report usually comprising a mix of images, text, maps, charts and tables. The profiled area is often contrasted with geographic or statistical neighbours.
Here we have selected three area types (often called 'geographies') to report at - Districts, Wards and LSOAs. However it is relatively straightforward to report at almost any geographic level. Currently only the Wards page contains live links to Ward profiles - these reports are generated dynamically from InstantAtlas Server and open in a new browser window. It is also possible to open these reports in the same browser window by embedding them.
Click on the Wards link in the left hand menu to generate a profile like the one below.
