Many observatory style solutions identify a set of key Themes or Priority Areas. Content is assembled around these key themes with easily accessible commentary, graphics and downloads all available from one section of the site.
We have selected a set of typical themes here. Four of them (Crime and Safety, Health, Deprivation and Education) have dummy content. They demonstrate how text-based content can be enhanced with embedded ‘live graphics’ from InstantAtlas Server. We refer to this as embedding IA Server 'widgets' into web page content. So, for example, a time series graph of monthly unemployment will be continuously updated without any manual intervention.
Links to Theme-specific resources can also be included (see right hand side of the pages) which link directly through to documents and web links managed in IA Server.
